Our babies

It did not seem right to not include our two precious black labs on this page! They really are such a huge part of our lives, and are so dear to us. I got Mission, our girl, first about 6 years ago from the CCA (Concerned Citizens for Animals). She had been found on a road with her brothers and sisters, just wandering near the road so they named her mission. Then a couple years later, as my cousin and I were moving into a new house, the owner mentioned that he was going to take his dog Goose to the Humane Society because they did not want him. Well, I just could not let that happen, so I immediately told them I would take him and I started working with him. He had been left alone for so long he would not let anyone near him, and would cower if you tried to touch him, we soon came to the conclusion he had been abused. After lots of time and attention, today he is like a completely different dog,he and Mission are just adorable!

More Vacation Pictures......

Driving the tractors really was so fun! And the views in Kansas are unbelievable.

We went to a farm near Aarons Grandfathers and they had tons of pigs, and we got to see the cutest baby pigs!

We also went on a trail ride the last day we were in Colorado it was absloutely beautiful, it was so peaceful to see all of the scenery. We even sited a deer along the way.

This is a picture of the the Pinnacle where we hiked in Colorado, it was amazing! There were a couple of times I thought we were gonna make it though because of the altitude but once we got to the top it was well worth the climb!
I can not wait for the next family reunion!

Anniversary and New House

August 13, 2006 was our much anticipated One year Anniversary, but it was not exactly the way we had planned. We just moved into a house in a different location in Columbia. The house is great, it is a cute Charleston style and we are renting it from a man from church that rents the house to college students. It is such a blessing, it is closer to work, church, and has a larger back yard for our two black labs. It also is less expensive than what we were paying for our townhouse! We are so excited about the house, the only catch is the day we moved into the new house was on our Anniversary. We went to Church, and then spent the rest of the day moving and cleaning. We were so exhausted, but even though it was not the way we planned, we still managed to break out our wedding cake and enjoy the fact that we had spent a wonderful year with one another. I could not ask for anything more than being married to my best friend, and I can not wait to grow old with him!
