New Do

Well, I have not been able to get my hair highlighted since I got pregnant, they say it is better to wait until after the second trimester. So, since I am in a friends wedding this weekend I figured I would finally get it done. Aaron's been saying for awhile that it would be nice if I got it cut in an inverted bob, so I decided this time, why not? I love it now that I finally got the nerve to do it, it feels so much better and it is nice to have a change!

I went to my two week appointment today, and everything seems to be going well with the baby. They are wanting to take some precautions though because I have gestational diabetes. I have been checking my blood sugar every four hours, and trying to watch my diet. They are going to see me every week now, twice a week to monitor the baby. And they are also going to induce me at 38 weeks to ensure that the baby doesnt get too big. I just ask for your prayers for strength, the closer it is getting the more nervous I am . I know that Lord is sovereign and he knows the plans for us. I just need to trust him. I am just so thankful everything is ok so far, and we are fortunate to have healthcare, the Lord is good. Our Sweet Girl

We got a 4D ultrasound today as my Birthday present, and what a present it was! It was amazing, she is such an angel! She was not very active at all during the ultrasound but she did keep her hand in her mouth, too cute! It was so neat to see all her little fingers and toes, on one shot her second two is longer than her big toe! What a blessing to see her sweet little facial features! I hope you enjoy!

By the way Amy and Christina, we are still working on the name..aaron really likes Makenna. Some other names are Riley, Taylor........

Happy Fourth of July!

I hope everyone had a great fourth of July! Aaron and I went to Augusta , GA with a friend of his. We went and saw a movie, went to dinner, played putt-putt, and got in a few firworks. It was nice to have some time with Aaron, we got up and went to breakfast before we headed to GA, it was so wonderful to spend time with each other.

Well, I got a call today that my Glucose Screening came back right at the cut off level, which means I have to have a three hour test done on Monday to ensure I do not have gestational diabetes. I have to fast, drink the same stuff again, but this time you wait three hours while they take your blood every hour. I am sure it will all come out fine, but I ask for your prayers. After this test we will head for our 2 week checkup, its getting closer, I am 28 weeks today:)
