Fripp Island

Here are some pictures from our trip to Fripp Island recently. It was so nice to get away, and just enjoy family, and the beach! The weather was pretty nice.. so that was great. We did get sun burned soaking in the sun though! It was nice to see Makenna's reactions to all of her surroundings and to watch her and Kaydence. Makenna even put some sand in her mouth at one point!! It was a nice trip, just wish we could have stayed longer!

Little Red Wagon

My Mom got Makenna a Little Red Wagon, and Aaron put it together last night. So he put her in it, and she loves it. Of course she wanted to eat the handle! She is so much fun, and all smiles!

Makenna's Six Month Checkup

Makenna had her six month checkup last week, and everything checked out great! She weighs 14 lbs 2 oz, and is 26 inches long. She is still a little small for her age but he said that she is growing perfectly on the curve. He also said that she is a good length and that she was going to be a model:).

She had to get her shots again which was no fun, beacuse I think now she has more of an idea what is going on! But she did not cry for long. He also mentioned that she is advanced for her age, since she is starting to crawl, so we are pleased to hear that. She is just changing so much everyday! She has so much personality, and she has her two front bottom teeth coming in! We are so thankful that she is healthy and well, and are just so thankful for her she is such a tremendous blessing and joy!

Easter

We had a nice Easter in Greenville. We went to Grace, and then spent a little bit of time with Brent and Kristin. We were able to get some shots of Makenna and Kaydence together! After this we ate with Aaron's family, and then headed to my Granny's house. She has been in a nursing home for a couple months now because of the heartattacks. They let her come home for a couple of hours which was so nice. She will actually be coming home today for good. Which is wonderful we know she is so excited but she will need around the clock care from the family. It was all and all a wonderful Easter.
