Trick or Treating

My parents came and stayed with us Halloween night to see Makenna go trick or treating for the first time. We took her to maybe four or five houses, and by that point she had learned how to take the candy from the bowls. We had a great time!

Aaron carved the pumpkin this year, and decided to let Makenna help. She did not like touching it so much~ but helped stir:)

 

 

 

 

Boo at the Zoo..

Aaron and I really enjoy going to the zoo, and this year we took Makenna to Boo at the Zoo. They had candy stations set up and lots of lights, it was a fun evening!

 

 

 

 

Harmon's

Aaron and I took Makenna to a place called Harmon's to pick out a pumpkin and just look around. It was a beautiful day~

 

 

 

 

South Carolina State Fair

 

 

 

 

We have a tradition of going to the fair every year with our friends, and eating anything and everything fried for one night! Well, this year Makenna got to join in on the fun. And it was extra special because Aarons parents were here!

I can hardly believe that is has already been a year, it seems just like yesterday that she was born. It has been an amazing year of so many firsts, and a learning experience as parents . She is the joy of our lives and such a blessing. Everyday is full of new suprises, and her smile and laugh just melt our hearts everytime. We are so thankful for our precious little girl , and can't wait for another year of memories.
