A life remembered , and a life beginning

Yesterday was a bitter sweet day for me, I learned of a life that passed away, and a life that had began. I learned that the wife of the president of our company passed away on Sunday, after struggling with a brain tumor. It has been a very trying time for the entire family, but she said that she just wanted her husband to let her go. As trying as the situation was, Bruce said he did not want for her to suffer, he knew it would be better for her to be with her heavenly father. Of course our hearts are burdened for him, and his family, but there is peace and joy in knowing that she did have faith. I also found out yesterday that a precious new, healthy life had entered the world. A couple from church had their first child, a beautiful a girl, Alana. It was such an amazing thing to watch a person grow with this amazing child inside them, and thne to finally see them with their tiny beautiful features, what a blessing. I just looked at her in awe and amazement, thinking that our God made her. I thought about the entire day, at how God gives life new and takes away every day, and how life is full of trials, and joys but what a blessing to know Him. It makes me feel convicted in my own life because of every day how much to I really give to him , trust in Him, and realize his great power. Please be in prayer for the Barragen family as they are dealing with the loss of a loved one, for the Riis family as they are starting a new family, and for myself that I may grow in Christ each day.
